P also stands for PERSPECTIVE, this video below sums up Stanley Kubricks perspective through a montage of all his films.
A video presenting Stanley Kubrick’s style of photography and vision! Must watch for any film goon..
70mm presented by John Landis was pretty epic.. BFI NFT1!

— short film by Kahlil Joseph, music from Flying Lotus’ album
The whole thing is insane beginning to end, SHOT AT FULL 35mm, none of that digital EOS shiiiiit.
The entire album plays out like film, high up-tempo beats mixed with slow dark basey beats. Highlight has to be Getting there with Niki Randa, you’ll see what I mean once you watch the video.
Essential info to BUY the album below.

This video is epic, gritty tale of a basketball player in Paris. The gritty technique in a foreign language works really well.
Details of project below, there really should be more initiatives like this in LONDON??
Pigalle Paris has set up the ‘AMATEUR BASKETBALL’ project. The aim of which is to support basketball teams having a strong sporting and social background.
For their first initiative Pigalle Paris has chosen their local team Goutte d’Or Basket Ball, from nearby Barbès, to remake their outfits. This team which hasn’t stopped moving up in the rankings now has first class sports equipment as well as a well defined graphic identity.
Stephane Ashpool ( Pain O chokolat / Pigalle ) who initiated the project, has collaborated with the Dutch film maker Paul Geusbroek ( Cake Film ) on a video made in Barbès which documents the unique energy of this multiracial neighbourhood.
For the initial project Pigalle Paris has been powered by Nike Stadium Paris and Nike Bowery New York.
Never really understood what Johny meant when he told me that the city of Paris grabs you, recent visit with a 14mm wide angled lens helped me capture that idea. Exploring by intuition and not using google maps on your phone. Thats when you realise, being in the right place at the RIGHT time counts for everything, by that I mean the film and pictures below. Enjoy the birds, the old woman luckily didn’t scream when I rushed towards her.

If you haven’t seen the film Drive by now, you definitely have been hiding under a rock.
But this isn’t just about the film Drive, its an edit to a track released by Kid Cudi’s new project/rock band WZRD.
The song Teleport 2 Me, Jamie (feat. Desire) at first I was thinking, WHY?..
After a couple of plays, the intro just stuck, looping in my head and then *TING*
PUT THE DRIVE film and the journey of Ryan Gosling to this track.. A perfect MATCH!..
So far so good, a minute and thirty seconds in, Cudi starts to sing some NA NA NA NAAAA sh*t..
MAJOR PROBLEM!.. there’s no way I’m getting some visuals with that. But with enough patience, it all fit into place.
The original edit was only a minute and thirty, with a shitty fade..Whatever..
This edit below is more the journey of TELEPORTATION between one person to another.
To what seemed at first a guy who is gentle, sweet and ever so smooth with his toothpick turn into some CLASS A PSYCHOPATH ASSASIN BURNING WITH DESIRE TO KILL KILL KILL.. Didn’t see that one coming, not in the slightest!
If I did have all the rushes that Nicolas Winding Refn put together, I literally would just have the camera flying through the city scape at night, HOW AMAZING IS THAT INTRO????
ENJOY + SHARE!
FORGET PLAN A< The opening shot alone is enough to get you hooked..
PLAN B like the Pied Piper playing violins on the estate as the city burns..
Shout out to my main man Josh(Status)! Roughly 2 minutes innnn..
OIIIIIIIIIIII
