“I had the opportunity to attend the SXSW Interactive held in Austin, Texas. The only thing I knew about Austin prior to the trip is that its the hometown of Stone Cold Steve Austin. The trip was cool, the locals told me the best time to come is during SXSW Music and you won’t really need a SXSW badge. Heres a quick list I things I found out:
- The people from Austin are the nicest i’ve ever met
- Austin is the Live Music Capital Of The World
- Keep Austin Weird, is the unofficial city motto – RIP Leslie Cochran
- The BBQ is on another level
- They like tattoos and beards
- 6th Street all day everyday from the west to the eastside
